Common Fault Causes and Troubleshooting Methods of Water Pump and Power Supply of Chiller

The chiller is an energy-saving machine that achieves cooling effect through vapor compression or absorption cycle. The full name of the chiller is the cooling water cycle machine.

Due to the failure of components in the process of use, the chiller cannot be used normally. The following are the faults and troubleshooting methods of the water pump and power supply.

First, the reasons for the failure of the water pump:

  1. Overload protection on the AC contactor of the water pump;
  2. The water pump itself has problems; such as coil burnout and bearing necrosis.

Method of exclusion:

  1. Tap the RESET button in the overcurrent protector.
  2. Replace the capacitor.
  3. When replacing the water pump, pay attention to the direction of the water pump when replacing the water.
  4. The filter is blocked;
  5. Insufficient refrigerant in the system causes low pressure alarm;
  6. The circulating cooling water stops working and causes high pressure alarm;
  7. The cooling fan of the heat exchanger stops working, causing a high pressure alarm.

measure:

  1. Clean the filter or replace the filter of the same type.
  2. Supplement refrigerant to the system.
  3. Check whether the cooling water circulating pump is working properly, and repair or replace it
  4. Check whether the cooling fan of the heat exchanger works normally, and repair or replace it.

Notice:

  1. To eliminate the above faults, pay attention to check whether the power connection line is disconnected.
  2. When the machine fails, it should be repaired by professionals. It is strictly forbidden to run the machine when the machine fails.

Second, the reason for the power failure:

  1. Mains disconnection, phase loss, instability,
  2. Check whether the phase sequence protector is burnt out;
  3. The fuse is burned out;

Method of exclusion:

  1. Check whether the mains is normal, and work again after the mains is normal.
  2. Replace the phase sequence protector.
  3. Replace the fuse.
