Daily Maintenance of Industrial Chillers
Although industrial chillers are equipped with multiple safety protection devices, these are all to prevent unexpected failures that lead to direct damage to the equipment. If the enterprise wants to ensure the high cooling efficiency and long service life of the chiller, it must remember to do regular maintenance. So, how to carry out normal safety maintenance and testing of industrial chillers?
- Check the stability of voltage and current
When the air-cooled chiller is working normally, the voltage is 380V, and the current is normal within the range of 11A-15A; - Regularly check the compressor
The compressor is the “heart” of the chiller, and its quality directly affects the stability of the chiller when it is used. The necessary acceptance test of the chiller should be carried out in accordance with the principle of first air tightness test, then vacuum test, first sub-item test, and then complete machine test. - Regular cleaning
In addition to checking the technical performance of the chiller, attention should also be paid to protecting the clean appearance of the unit and the cleanliness of the work site. When the chiller runs for 6 months, it is necessary to clean the entire system, such as pipes, filters, condensers, fans, etc., especially the fans and condensers. Like our commonly used fans, dust is full of dust and affects heat dissipation, so the cooling efficiency will be reduced. directly lower. - Regularly check the instrument: the temperature control meter is out of control, replace the temperature control meter, high pressure fault, poor heat dissipation, the radiator is too dirty, clean the radiator and ventilation is not good, improve the ventilation conditions The cooling fan does not work, check whether the fan motor is burnt out, repair or replace it The high-voltage engine of the motor motor is damaged, replace the high-voltage engine.
- Regularly check whether the refrigerant is reduced
Judging by the high and low pressure gauge values on the front of the chiller. When the chiller is in normal operation, the high pressure is 11-17kg and the low pressure is 3-5kg is the normal range. In the shutdown state, both high pressure and low pressure are around 0.6kg. - Regularly check the cooling water pressure and water temperature.
The cooling water pressure and water temperature determine the heat dissipation of the chiller, and the switch should be checked regularly to see if it is within the normal range. It is best to install a water pressure gauge and a temperature gauge in a conditional working environment. - Regularly check whether the internal parts of the electric control box are loose, burnt, scorched and other abnormal conditions. If you find it, you should immediately notify the professionals of the chiller manufacturer to come over for maintenance.
- The water-cooled chiller should also regularly check whether the cooling tower is operating normally.
