What effect does the temperature of the fermenter have on the reaction process and how to control the reaction temperature? The influence of the temperature of the fermenter on the fermentation process is multifaceted. In addition to the direct influence, the temperature also affects the physical and chemical properties of the reaction liquid, such as the viscosity of the reaction liquid, the solubility and transfer rate of the substrate and oxygen in the reaction liquid, and certain substrates. The rate of decomposition and absorption, as well as the kinetic properties of fermentation and product biosynthesis.

The fermentation temperature is not only suitable for the growth of bacteria, but also suitable for the synthesis of metabolites, which varies with the type of bacteria, the composition of the medium, the culture conditions and the growth stage. Theoretically, the entire fermentation process should not only choose one culture temperature, but should choose different culture temperatures according to different stages of fermentation.

In actual production, due to the large volume of the fermentation broth, it is difficult to increase the temperature, so during the entire fermentation process, a more suitable culture temperature is often used to increase the product yield, or appropriate adjustments are made under possible conditions. The most suitable growth temperature should be selected in the growth stage, and the most suitable production temperature should be selected in the product secretion stage.

The fermentation temperature needs to be controlled, and the fermentation temperature needs to be measured first. The fermentation temperature can be detected by a thermometer or an automatic recording instrument, and adjusted by entering cold water, hot water or heat transfer oil into the fermenter jacket or coiled pipe. In industrial production, generally used large-scale fermentation tanks do not need to be heated during the fermentation process, because fermentation releases a large amount of fermentation heat, and in this case cooling is usually required, using automatic control or manual adjustment valves, cooling water passes through Jackets or coils, cooled by heat exchange to maintain a constant temperature for fermentation.
