How to Choose an Air-cooled Chiller?

The first thing to consider when buying an air-cooled chiller is how to select it. Usually, we consider the following aspects:

  1. The cooling capacity of the chiller: According to the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet water and the water flow, the cooling capacity is calculated, which is the primary condition for model selection.
  2. Water tank and water pump: The host has its own water tank and water pump. Usually, the chiller below 40HP has its own water tank and water pump, which is convenient for customers to install and use. Of course, if there is a water tank on the site, there is no need to bring a water tank.
  3. Air-cooled chiller refrigerant: Whether the customer has special requirements, usually the refrigerant of domestic chiller adopts R22.
  4. Whether there is a special process: For example, in the electroplating industry, the evaporator is generally made of acid-resistant or alkali-resistant materials. The laser industry requires that parts in contact with water must be made of stainless steel, and these should also be considered when selecting models.
