How to prevent moisture in the process chillers?

  1. Equipment installation location selection

When selecting the location for installing process coolers, it is important to avoid humid environments such as basements or areas close to water sources. A well ventilated and dry place should be selected to reduce the impact of humid air on the equipment.

  2. Sealing inspection

Regularly check the sealing performance of the process cooler to ensure that the internal components and circuit boards of the equipment are not invaded by moisture. If any areas with poor sealing are found, they should be repaired or replaced in a timely manner.

  3. Temperature control

Maintain a suitable temperature around the process cooler to avoid high or low temperatures. High temperature can cause the internal moisture of the equipment to evaporate and form moisture; Low temperatures are prone to condensation. The environmental temperature should be reasonably controlled according to the requirements of the equipment.

  4. Equipment maintenance

Regularly maintain and clean the process cooler to remove dust and dirt from the equipment surface. This can reduce dust adsorption on the equipment in humid environments and reduce the invasion of moisture.

  5. Humidity control

In humid environment, humidity control equipment such as Dehumidifier or humidifier can be considered. The Dehumidifier can absorb moisture in the air and keep the environment dry; A humidifier can increase the humidity of the environment and prevent the air from becoming too dry.

  6. Equipment packaging and storage

If the process cooler needs to be stored or transported for a long time, attention should be paid to using appropriate packaging materials to ensure that the equipment is not corroded by humid air. When storing equipment, it is advisable to choose a dry and ventilated place to avoid the impact of damp environments on the equipment.

  7. Regular inspection

Regularly check the working status and external environment of the process cooler, and promptly identify and solve moisture problems. If water droplets or damp marks are found on the surface of the equipment, immediate measures should be taken to eliminate moisture.
