How to Judge the Cooling Capacity of the Car Battery Test System is Insufficient?

How to judge the lack of refrigerant in the battery pack test temperature control system? If the temperature cannot be continued for a period of time after the cooling operation, it may be that your refrigerant is not enough. At this time, you must learn to judge the lack of refrigerant. Generally, the current method and gauge pressure are used. method, observation method and other three methods to judge.

  1. Current method: Use a clamp-on ammeter to monitor the battery pack and test the working current of the temperature control system. Of course, the compressor and fan currents. If the current meets the rated current, the cooling is appropriate. If the current is lower than the rated current, there is too little refrigerant. .
  2. Gauge pressure method: The pressure on the low-pressure side of the refrigeration system of the battery pack test temperature control system is closely related to the refrigerant. Connect the pressure gauge to the low-pressure valve. Once the refrigeration starts, the pressure gauge will drop. After running for a quarter of an hour, if Stable pressure is the normal state.
  3. Observation method: Observe the condensation of the high pressure pipe near the high pressure valve of the outdoor unit and the low pressure pipe near the low pressure valve. Generally, the high-pressure pipe condenses and is relatively cold. If the low-pressure pipe also condenses, there is a cool feeling, and the temperature is about 3 degrees higher than the high-pressure pipe, indicating that the refrigerant is suitable. If there is no condensation on the low-pressure pipe, but there is a sense of temperature, it means that the amount of refrigerant is insufficient and needs to be added; Too much refrigerant needs to be drained.

This mainly depends on the condensation situation near the high-pressure pipe and low-pressure valve of the battery pack test temperature control system. The observation method and the gauge pressure method are combined. Generally speaking, the high-pressure pipe is condensed and it is cold. There is a cool feeling, and the temperature is about 3 °C higher than that of the high-pressure pipe, indicating that the refrigerant is suitable. If there is no condensation on the low-pressure pipe, but there is a sense of temperature, it means that the amount of refrigerant is insufficient and needs to be added; Too much refrigerant needs to be drained.
