How to Maintain the Industrial Chiller in Winter?

Although the frequency of using industrial chillers in winter is not as frequent as in summer, for some industries, they still need to be used every day in winter. When the equipment fails, it will inevitably delay the production schedule. How to repair it at this time?

  1. When the high pressure and low pressure of the industrial chiller are higher than the normal pressure.

First of all, it is necessary to find out the reasons. One is that there is air in the system and excessive refrigerant is added. At this time, the air in the system needs to be sucked out and an appropriate amount of refrigerant should be added again.

Another situation is that the heat dissipation of the unit is poor, which is usually caused by the clogging of the cooling fins of the condenser. It is necessary to clean the condenser and install the unit in a relatively open place.

  1. When the high pressure and low pressure of the industrial chiller are lower than the normal pressure.

The reason for the relatively low high and low pressure may be that the refrigeration system is blocked, and there is a throttling at the blocked position, and the temperature difference at the throttling part is relatively large. We can feel the temperature difference with our hands.

In addition, the refrigerant in the system leaks, resulting in a lack of refrigerant. In this case, a special detector is required to detect the leak and block it.

  1. When the low pressure of the industrial chiller is high, the high pressure is low.

The cooling effect of the industrial chiller is not as expected, and most of the time it is because of wear and tear in the pump and a decrease in power. The solution is usually to replace the compressor.

  1. When the industrial chiller is running, the pressure gauge shakes

This is mainly because there is moisture inside the system. The solution is to drain the moisture inside. In order to ensure that the moisture in the refrigeration system is completely removed, if conditions permit, a dry filter can be replaced.
