Factors Affecting Evaporation Temperature of Industrial Refrigeration System

In the pharmaceutical, food, chemical and other industries, process water cooling is required, and industrial chillers have become the necessary equipment for many industries. However, industrial chillers will always wear and tear during use. Therefore, we need to regularly record and analyze its operating parameters, and do regular maintenance operations for it. So what are the factors that affect the evaporation temperature of industrial chillers?

  1. Blockage of the drying filter: In order to ensure the normal circulation of the refrigeration unit, the refrigeration system must be kept clean and dry. If there are impurities in the system, the drying filter will be blocked, the system will be difficult to supply liquid, and the cooling effect will be affected.
  2. Oil formation in the evaporator pipeline: under normal circumstances, due to the mutual dissolution of lubricating oil and freon, an oil film will not be formed on the surface of the heat exchanger, so the thermal resistance of the oil film can be ignored, but in the case of additional lubricating oil, the same label as the original must be selected lubricating oil to prevent the generation of oil film. According to different models, the selection of evaporators is also different. For example, box-type chillers use tank-coil evaporators; open-type chillers and screw-type chillers use shell-and-tube evaporators. For acid and alkali resistant chillers, titanium tube evaporators or stainless steel plate exchangers can be selected. An industrial chiller has a variety of options, and of course, it can be customized according to user needs.
  3. Evaporator temperature condition: Under normal circumstances, the outer surface of the evaporator is very cold, and the dew drops are dripping down continuously, and the temperature of the inlet and outlet air is relatively large. In an abnormal situation, the surface of the evaporator is not too cold, and there is not much dew, or No condensation, you can hear the sound of the refrigerant flowing very loudly, and the temperature difference between the incoming and outgoing air is small.

The factors that affect the evaporation temperature of industrial chillers are shared here. While providing industrial cold water to customers, industrial chillers can also supply a large amount of free sanitary hot water. When the thermal system is running, the cooling is increased, and the energy utilization rate is high. The recovered heat can reach 30~80% of the cooling capacity.
