System Inspection Steps for Air-cooled Chillers
First, the refrigeration system
Check the pipelines of the refrigeration system for cracks, damage, frosting, etc. Whether there is any friction between the cooling pipelines of the air-cooled chiller, the pipeline and the shell, especially the welding of the pipelines, whether there is any leakage at the connection of the joints, but there will be oil stains at the leaks, and clean soft water can also be used. Wipe the welded part of the pipeline and the junction of the joint with a cloth or soft paper.
Second, the electrical system
Check whether the electrical system fuse is blown and whether the insulation of the electrical wires is intact. Whether there is cracking, whether the connection is loose, etc. Especially whether the electrical connection is in good contact, the wiring screws and connectors are easy to loose and cause poor contact.
Third, the ventilation system
Check whether there is too much dust in the mesh, heat exchanger coils and fins, whether the air inlet and outlet are unblocked, whether the fan blades work normally; whether the wind force is normal, whether the water system is normal, etc.
Fourth, the water system
Check whether the water system is leaking; whether the water inlet and outlet are unblocked; whether the work is normal. Listen to whether the working sound of the air-cooled chiller is normal, whether there is any abnormal sound, whether there is any noise in the operation of the electric fan and the water pump, and whether the noise is too loud, etc. When the air-cooled chiller is working, under normal conditions, the vibration is subtle and the noise is small.
Feel the cold, heat, tremor and other conditions of the relevant parts with the hand, which is helpful to judge the nature and location of the fault. Under normal conditions, the temperature decreases gradually from top to bottom, and the temperature at the bottom is slightly higher than the ambient temperature. If the whole condenser is not hot or the upper part is slightly warm, or if it is hot but there is a significant difference in temperature between the upper and lower adjacent pipes, it is abnormal. Under normal circumstances, if you put a finger dipped in water on the surface of the evaporator, you will feel cold and sticky. Under normal conditions, the capillary at the outlet of the dryer should feel warm. If it feels lower than the ambient temperature, or there are dew condensations on the surface, and there is a temperature difference between each section of the capillary, it is not normal. The temperature of the suction pipe 20 cm away from the compressor should be similar to the ambient temperature under normal conditions.
